ZINC ALLOY POWDER FOR ALKALINE BATTERY AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To provide zinc alloy powder for an alkaline battery, capable of substantially restraining the occurrence of hydrogen gas at the process of applying a non-porous and even unleaded system. CONSTITUTION:This powder is composed of zinc containing 0.01 to 0.5wt.% of bismuth, 0.01 to 0.5wt.% of indium, 0.001 to 0.1wt.% of at least one element selected from gallium and manganese, and the rest of 1ppm or less of iron as an associated impurity.
