PURPOSE:To provide the manufacture of a rubber roll whose rubber covered material exchange work can be conducted simply and easily on the spot and whose workability can be improved and which can be manufactured inexpensively and in addition whose durability can be improved. CONSTITUTION:A rubber covered material 3 is composed of plural circular arc members 4 made approximately equivalent to the peripheral length of a roll core metal 2 and of predetermined widths. For example, the eight part division of a circular arc member 4 is constituted, but there is no limitation particularly as to a sheet number to be divided. At plural circular arc members 4 constituting the rubber covered material 3, fixing means 5 to fix plural circular arc members 4 against the roll core metal 2 are provided. As these fixing means 5, the fitting grooves 7 of tightening bands 6 are formed in the peripheral direction of the circular arc members 4. |
