<p>Polythioureas Title cpds. of formula (where R is (cyclo)aliphatic., R1 is H or CH3; R2 is H a (cyclo)aliphatic or aromatic residue with 1 to 20 C atoms and n is integer 10-10000), is produced by reaction of a mercaptoamine of formula HS-R-NH2 with an olefinically unsatd. isocyanate H2C=C-N(R1)CO or an olefinically unsatd. carbamide acid chloride H2C=C(R1)-N(R3)-COCl (where R3 is a (cyclo)aliphatic or aromatic residue with is not >20 C atoms). Molar ratio of reactants is 1:1. Used for coatings for paper, wood, metal, textiles, binders, stabilisers for polymers.</p> |
