The piston (3), which has a stroke of 2 mm, and part of the needle (10) are sealingly arranged in the housing (1). Away from the seal (9) is a canal (12) which is fed by an adhesive inlet (17) which is loosely attached to the base structure (14) which forms the canal and needle seat (13). The base structure has a threaded section (15) which screws into the threaded section (16) of the housing. The inlet feeds into between the inner end of the threaded section of the housing and a seal (11) for the needle. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be used for hot and cold adhesives. Is easily constructed and requires simple maintenance.
