PURPOSE:To obtain the polyester fibers whose dye utilization is not lowered in the dyeing at elevated temperature by specifying the peak value of tan delta, the temperature at this time and dye exhaustion. CONSTITUTION:In polyester fibers of which more than 80% is polyethylene terephthalate, the peak value of tan delta (tan deltamax) and the temperature at this time (Tmax) satisfy 0.16<tan delta<0.22 and 115 deg.C<Tmax<140 deg.C, and referring to filament denier d, the dye exhaustion of Resolin Blue FBL 3% owf at 100 deg.C is less than -3.79d<1/2>+91, that of Samaron Blue GSL400 5% owf at 130 deg.C is larger than -11.6d<1/2>+58. The polyester fibers are obtained by treating polyester fibers with a fluid which can diffuse into polyester fibers and heated up to higher than 160 deg.C, before the dyeing. |
