PURPOSE:To enable compression process without waiting for prescribed updating at a dictionary table. CONSTITUTION:The data of a dictionary table 13 which is updated at the time of transferring the assembler file of the last time or the like is stored in a memory 14, and the data stored in the memory 14 is read by the request of the dictionary table 13 right after on-line is established, and loaded to the dictionary table 13. When a data compression part 12 compresses data, this loaded data of the dictionary table 13 is referred to and updated, and the compression processing is performed from the head of the data. |
