<p>Device for the thermal prefixing of stockings at the exit of a circular machine and comprising a cylindrical treatment chamber (1) of vertical axis, with an inlet valve (2) and an outlet valve (3), which cylindrical treatment chamber (1) is connected, on one side, to a circular stocking-making machine by means of a discharge pipe (5) and, on the other side, to a suction pipe (6) for transporting the stockings leaving the circular machine, in which device the said chamber is equipped with: - a lamellar valve (200) to allow air to enter the chamber (1) during the expulsion of the stockings which have been treated; - a branch pipe (7) connected, on the one side, to the chamber (1) and, on the other side, to the pipe (6), with a valve (4) interposed; - an optical sensor (10) which is located upstream of the treatment chamber (1) and the axis of which intercepts the said pipe (5) in order to detect the arrival of a stocking, and which actuates the valves (2,3,4) by means of actuating cylinders (120,130,140); - means (11) for heating the treatment air, with a thermally insulated chamber (12) which performs the function of a heat exchanger and which communicates with the treatment chamber (1) via a plurality of holes (100) made in the wall of the latter (1); - an injector (9) for injecting compressed air into the heat exchanger (12) in order to supply the treatment air. <IMAGE></p> |
