<p>The process according to the invention for the industrial manufacture of films of fully biodegradable polymers provides for: - the preparation of a film-grade mixture of: poly-beta- hydroxy-butyrate copolymer (PHBV) with 4-16% of poly-beta- hydroxyvalerate, 0-20% of plasticiser (e.g. glycerine, citric acid esters), 0.3-1.5% of nucleating agent (e.g. barium nitride) and 0-10% of a synthetic polymer; extrusion with entry temperatures of 110 degree C-150 degree C and outlet temperatures of 140 degree C-180 degree C, - cooling to 50 degree C-75 degree C; drawing out to a thickness of 15 microns. The films so obtained have extremely advantageous applications in the packaging of compatibly biodegradable materials (compostable materials, plant propagation materials, etc.). <IMAGE></p> |
