<p>PURPOSE:To agitate water in low motive power without breaking floc of activated sludge by providing aperture parts at both corners on the bottom parts of respective partitions of a multi-stage tank, alternately opening and closing the respective aperture parts opposing aperture parts of adjacent partitions thereby zigzag fluidizing waste water. CONSTITUTION:A waste water treating tank 10 is constituted of a multistage tank. Respective aperture parts 1a, 1b-3a, 3b are provided at both corners on the bottom parts of many sheets of partitions 1-3. Further divergence of the respective aperture parts 1a-3a is controlled by the respective valves 4. Furthermore the respective valves 4 are opened, closed and driven by the mutually interlocked opening/closing devices 5. In this case, both aperture parts 1a-3b of the same partitions 1-3 are alternately opened and closed at every specified time. On the other hand, the opposing aperture parts 1a-3b of the adjacent partitions 1-3 are alternately opened and closed. Water 11 to be treated containing activated sludge is introduced from the downward part 13 of the left end of the waste water treating tank 10 and successively passed through the respective aperture parts 1a, 2b, 3a being in a simultaneously opened state and zigzag fluidized.</p> |
