PURPOSE:To apply the low frictional performance and water repellency to the surface of a sealing part made of sponge material by the simple process and prevent the joint between the weather strips from being obstructed. CONSTITUTION:The body part of a weather strip 1 is made of the sponge material which is formed by compounding diene group rubber into EPDM and formed through extrusion molding. On the surface of a hollow sealing part 3, a skin film 4 made of the bleed-out material is formed through extrusion molding at the same time. The skin film 4 is made of the material formed by compounding a smoothing agent into the polymer blend of NBR and PVC and possesses the characteristic that the smoothing agent gradually bleeds out on the surface because of the difference of the mutual solubility. |
