PURPOSE:To provide a new compound having sharp spectroscopic absorption, excellent in light fastness, transferability, and durability, useful for e.g. heat- sensitive transfer dye-donating materials. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula I [Za-Zc are each CR<8>= or N= (p<8> is H or nonmetallic substituent); R<3>-R<7> are each H or nonmetallic substituent; R'' and R'' are each of formula II (R<9>-R<12> are each H or substituted alkyl), etc{9147/28}, e.g. compound of formula III. The compound of the formula I can be obtained, for example, by reaction between a compound of formula V (NDS is 1,5-naphthalendisulfonic acid) and a compound of formula V. |
