PURPOSE:To provide a developer having stable triboelectric chargeability, excellent in environmental stability and giving a clear image whose quality is comparable to that of an initial image even after continuous copying. CONSTITUTION:This two-component developer consists of a toner contg. a fluorine-contg. quaternary grade ammonium salt represented by formula I or a fluorine-contg. iminium compd. represented by formula II and a carrier contg. a silane coupling agent having a prim. or sec. amino group and a resistance controlling agent. In the formulae I, II, each of R1-R4 and R9-R12 is H or an org. group, at least one of R1-R4 and at least one of R9-R12 are 1-69C and 3-66F straight chain or branched fluoroalkyl or fluoroalkenyl and X<-> is an org. or inorg. anion. |
