PURPOSE:To improve the visibility of a screen by displaying a travel schedule course by rotation, movement, and reduction so that the start point and destina tion are arranged at specific positions on a display at all times. CONSTITUTION:This navigation device is equipped with a setting means which sets the travel schedule course including the start point and destination, an LCD display unit 19 as the display which has the rectangular screen, and a display control means 18 which displays the travel schedule course by rotation, movement, and reduction so that the start point and destination are arranged at the specific positions on the LCD display unit 19 at all times. The LCD display unit 19 displays guidance information (destination azimuth, destination remaining distance, travel track, etc.) and current place information (map book position, travel track, etc.) on a moving body. Namely, the travel schedule course have coordinates converted and coordinate conversion is performed by rotation, movement, and reduction to display the start position and destination at the specific positions on the screen. |
