In proximity to the detector (4), there is provided a calibrating strip (6) mounted in a movable manner with respect to the surface of the cylinder (1) and linked to a mechanism (5) enabling it to be lifted intermittently when the clamps (2) pass below, and adjusting mechanism (12-15) for setting the distance from said strip to the cylinder in its operating position to a determined value. |
