PURPOSE:To obtain a controlling method for enabling the acceleration or deceleration driving to be performed at a high speed with precision. CONSTITUTION:The driving quantity of a motor applied by the moving distance of an object to be driven by the stepping motor is computed (S1), and an acceleration driving quantity, a constant-speed driving quantity, and a deceleration driving quantity are set by arithmetic operation (S2-S4), and the number of driving pulses for correcting error short to the driving quantity of a total driving quantity applied by setting is computed.(S5). Besides, the corrected pulse number is divided into two, and a corrected pulse number at the time of acceleration and a correcting pulse number at the time of deceleration are found (S6). Then, at the time of the acceleration(S7-S14) and the deceleration (S19), driving at pulse rates corresponding with respective correcting pulse numbers is performed every twice. |
