PURPOSE:To obtain an applicator of an electrophoretic analyzer, which is easy to make and highly accurate. CONSTITUTION:In an applicator 1 of an electrophoretic analyzer comprising a blade 3 brought into contact with a liquid surface of a sample to be analyzed for sucking the sample liquid by a predetermined amount by a capillary phenomenon and a joint 2 having the blade at the tip and being removably fixed to a holder of the analyzer, the blade 3 and the joint 2 are integrally molded while a narrow groove 6 for sucking the predetermined amount of the sample liquid by a capillary phenomenon is cut on the blade 3 in a longitudinal crack shape. With a simple process of cutting the groove on the blade, an accurate applicator having no room for causing an error such as a shift can be obtained. In addition the accurate applicators can be mass-produced, thereby largely reducing a manufacturing cost. |
