Process to treat flow of warm fluid e.g. in distillation - reduces cost by lowering complexity of control and instrumentation equipment

In a process to treat a fluid flow with n(n is greater than 2) product flows (P1, P2...Pn), and where n partial main application flows (E1, E2...En) are brought into indirect contact with product flows (P1,P2...Pn) in heat exchanger blocks (W1,W2...Wn) respectively, the novelty is that the temperatures (TP1 TP2...TPn) of the n product flows (P1, P2,...Pn) are measured after the indirect heat exchange, and that the sub-division of the main application flow of the partial flow (E1, E2,...En) is set in relation to a function f(TP1,Tp2...Tpn) of the product flow temperatures (TP1, Tp2,...TPn). Further that the heat exchange is controlled by a regulator RPE into which go the measured values for temperatures TP1, TP2,...TPn) of the n product (P1, P2...Pn). Further that the sub-division of the operation flow into partial flows E1, E2,...En is effected by actuators Sp2.,,, SPn in relation to a function f(Tp1, Tp2...,Tpn) of the temperatures Tp1, Tp2,...Tpn of the production flows. USE/ADVANTAGE - The process can be used for physical separation of products such as occur in distillation. The process reduces costs by reducing the amount of measurement and control equipment required.
