PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive small type printer with a limited power consumption which is printable at a plurality of positions and changeable thereby in the direction of shifting the hammer in a hammer mechanism housed inside a type wheel. CONSTITUTION:A type wheel 5 wound with a type belt 7 tensioned on a cylindrical base 6 is rotated by a fixed angle with a pulse motor and after the stoppage of the type wheel 5, current flows through a selected coil 16 to hit a projection 10 on a selected type wheel with a hammer 23 thereby printing a printing paper 113. An ink on an ink roller 102 is applied on an elastic type wheel 9. The feeding of the paper is performed with the pulse motor. The hammer 23 of a hammer unit 14 is turned down manually and the type wheel 5 is turned with a changeover signal to print a note, recording paper or the like laid under a printer. |
