PURPOSE:To improve compensation accuracy for packet loss by compensating a code (string) to be compensated in a loss period by deciding the code by a pattern matching method. CONSTITUTION:A pattern matching circuit 55 computes an error value by performing the matching of a template period in a search window period with an acoustic signal string of same length as that of the template period by segmenting the acoustic signal string in the template period, and defines an error minimum interval, and sends a code string in that period to a packet loss compensation part 52 by supplying the interval information of prescribed succeeding samples to a code register 53. The packet loss compensation part 52 compensates the code string in that period by a compensated code string, and the code string is supplied to an ADPCM(adaptive difference PCM) decoder part 9, and is ADPCM-decoded, and also, it is supplied to and stored in the code register 53. Also, an obtained acoustic signal string is outputted to a digital/analog conversion circuit, and also, it is stored in an output register 54. |
