PURPOSE:To maintain deodorizing performance at high level by a method wherein a high humidity chamber in which inside of a container is kept at high humidity by vaporization of water contained in food is provided in a refrigerator, and a deodorant is placed in a protruding part in a rear side at a position apart from a discharge port of a cool air duct. CONSTITUTION:A high humidity chamber 11 is placed on a given shelf in a refrigerating chamber 7 of a refrigerator into which cool air cooled while passing through a cooler is blown off through an arched duct 10 which is provided in the vertical direction on a rear side of a refrigerator body. This high humidity chamber 11 is formed to have a depth to reach the cool air duct 10 and houses a flat tray 12. The rear side of the high humidity chamber 11 is partially formed to make a protruding part for housing a deodorant 13. In this instance, the protruding part is positioned apart from the cool air duct 10. By this, as the cool air does not come into direct contact with the deodorant 13, it can be prevented that the deodorant 13 absorbs any moisture. |
