The present invention relates to an electrically-driven flowrate generator for a fluid, comprising a valve 1 with a movable flap 3 which is integral with the movable core of an electromagnet. This generator is characterised in that the upstream supply pressure P1 of the fluid is chosen to be greater than twice the downstream working pressure P2, so that the flow of the fluid through the passage section delimited by the movable flap of the valve is sonic, and it comprises a single pressure sensor 10 picking off the upstream supply pressure P1, whose output signal is applied to the second input of the multiplier circuit 8. <IMAGE>
