After the gutted fish with head and tail removed have been fed forward with the skin side upwards, further components turn and fix the fish with the back downwards, and a pair of parallel rotating circular blades loosen the right and left fillets from the fish skin. The circular blade peripheral edge is provided with teeth with edges which deviate in angle from the blade circular periphery. The teeth are regularly formed and evenly distributed along the peripheral edge, being produced by milled-out formations in the peripheral edge. The forward feed device (10) comprises a conveyor belt on which the fish (11) rest flatly with the skin side upwards, and the fillets spread out on either side. The fish are turned and fixed by a peripherally directed track in first and second belts (12,19). The belts run a certain distance in the track where they clamp the back part of the fish. |
