<p>PURPOSE:To provide a tape printing apparatus capable of setting at least one of line modifications of a character interval such as left margin arrangement, center arrangement, right margin arrangement or the like at every printing line among a plurality of printing lines. CONSTITUTION:When a printing key is operated after character rows are inputted over a plurality of lines along with line modification, the line number of the longest line is stored in a longest line memory (S70) and the data of the first line is read from a text memory (S72) and, when said line is the longest line (S73:Yes), the development positions of the respective characters of the first line are operated and the operation result is stored in a character position memory (S74). Next, the data of the second line is read (S72) and, when the second line is not the longest line (S70:No.), the line modification set to the second line is judged (S75, S79) and the development positions of the respective characters of the second line are operated on, the basis of the longest line and the operation result is stored in the character position memory (S76, S78, S80).</p> |
