PURPOSE:To economize the dictionary capacity and to facilitate the maintenance by including a dictionary where unit character strings are stored, a sentence decomposing means, an example dictionary where allowed examples are stored, a discriminating means, an example taking-out means, and a substituting means. CONSTITUTION:A dictionary 108 where many unit character strings are stored, the sentence decomposing means which refers to the dictionary 108 to decompose an inputted sentence including KANA (Japanese syllabary) characters and KANJI (Chinese character) together into unit character strings, an example dictionary 110 where allowed examples are stored, and the discriminating means which discriminates whether each unit character string obtained by the sentence decomposing means has a homonym or not are included. Further, the example taking-out means and the substituting means which substitutes a 1st unit character string with a 2nd unit character string based on success of a prescribed substitution condition are included; and if it is discriminated that the 1st unit character string has a homonym, the example dictionary 110 is retrieved, and the example taking-out means takes out the 2nd unit character string when finding the example where the 1st unit character string is substituted with the 2nd unit character string as the homonym. Thus, the storage capacity is economized. |
