CODE TYPE DESIGNATION SYSTEM FOR CLIENT SIDE IN CLIENT/ SERVER FILE TRANSFER SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent dissidence between a code type of storage data in a file to be transferred and a code type of the system at the transfer when lots of files stored in various code types are transferred by providing a code type management table to the system. CONSTITUTION:A code type management table 10 is generated by the operator 1 in which file names of files to be transferred and code types of each file are in pairs. A file transfer section 2 receiving a file name from the operator 1 informs the file name to a code type control section 3. The code type control section 3 uses the file name as a key to retrieve the code type management table 10 thereby obtaining the code type of the file 20 to be transferred. Then the code type control section 3 informs the acquired code type of the file 20 to the file transfer section 2. The file transfer section 2 informs the code type of the file 20 to the file transfer system of the server being the transfer destination through a communication line 4.
