PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material which is high in both glossiness and recording density and excellent in a contrast without generating sticking in thermal recording. CONSTITUTION:A thermal coloring layer which has a leuco dye, a developing agent, and an adhesive as main components is provided on a side surface of synthetic paper, and an intermediate layer which has a kaolinite clay, modified polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution, acrylic emulsion, and dimethylol urea as main components is provided on the thermal coloring layer. Further, a gloss layer coating consisting of 175 pts. of acrylic emulsion containing silica (44% solid content), 20 pts. of monolauric acid decaglyceride, 10 pts. of 30% benzoguanamine resin powder (3mum mean particle size), and 190 pts. of water is coated onto the intermediate layer so that a coated amount after drying becomes 2.0g/m<2>. |
