The invention relates to an arrangement in connection with the glass-supporting profile section in a facing system, which comprises a horizontal profile section 2, which constitutes a part of a frame construction formed from profile sections, a heat barrier strip 4 made of plastic material arranged in grooves 3 thereof, and screw elements, by means of which the heat barrier strip 4 is fixed in the horizontal profile section 2. In order to produce a simple and reliable fastening, the threads 6 in the screw elements 5 have been arranged solely on one part of the length of the screw element, so that the threads 6 can only engage in the heat barrier strip 4 and the horizontal profile section 2 at different points in time. <IMAGE>
