The handle has a control lever (18) articulated on a fixed support (22) around a fixed axis (20). The lever is movable between a release position for the brake, towards which the lever is spring biased and a locking position. A handling lever for the brake lever is articulated to the support around the same fixed axis and is spring biased to a rest position. A handling rod (46) has an end hinged to the free and of the control lever around an axis (50) parallel to the fixed axis. Release controls (40) include a first linkage (62,64) carried by the handling rod and a second linkage (70) carried by the support. A connecting linkage (72) is hinged to the first two.
