The DC motor has two rotors which are coupled to each other with a mechanical interface. The unbalanced rotors cause a constant head-on-turning which leads to an equal torque by both rotors. The interaction of excitation fields with armature fields creates an equal torque in forward or backward direction. Both rotors produce a full pole revolution in half a rotor revolution, and in half the time. ADVANTAGE - Near 100 percent efficiency. Reduced current consumption due to interaction of excitation and armature fields.
