The invention relates to a device enabling a plan of varying length to be unwound over a drawing board without the user being hampered by its length and allowing him to work on any chosen surface. It consists of a tube which is open at both ends and has an "S" shaped cross-section, of a housing into which the rolled-up plan (4) is inserted and of a turned-up part which allows the casing (1) to slide over the plan (4). The device according to the invention is particularly designed for manipulating very long plans on a drawing board. <IMAGE>
