In a device for producing moulded plastic foils by means of a moulding tool which can rotate about one or more axes (14, 15), in which a thermoplastic powder is melted in layers on the heated mould surface and after cooling can be removed from the mould walls in the form of a moulded plastic foil, the heating and cooling take place by means of fluid heating and cooling agents which can be fed alternately into a chamber (4) in the moulding tool. In order to compensate for the considerable thermal stresses between the housing walls (5) enclosing the chamber and the mould walls (2), there are stress-compensating convexities (6, 7) in the housing walls. The thermal stresses are primarily caused by the different materials of the mould and housing walls. The mould walls (2) consist of a galvano-material, e.g. a copper-nickel alloy, whereas the housing walls (5) are of ordinary sheet steel.
|
