PURPOSE:To improve driving efficiency by increasing acceleration/deceleration of a running elevator when it is judged by a load detector that there is no passenger in a cage. CONSTITUTION:A difference between a load when a passenger is in a cage of an elevator and that when there is no passenger therein is detected by a load variation calculation part 5 through a load detector 1 mounted on the cage of an elevator. When the elevator starts to run while a load in the cage is within a fixed range and there is no destination calling registration by a cage calling operational board 2 in the cage, running time of the elevator is reduced by making a velocity pattern and a jerk pattern during acceleration/ deceleration larger than that in a case when the elevator is operated with passengers in the cage. |
