<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost of inert gas and suppress the emission of harmful substances. CONSTITUTION:A process for operating an inert gas generating system comprises introducing partly or wholly the exhaust gas from a main engine 1 and an auxiliary boiler 2, removing the residual oxygen from the exhaust gas by an afterburning device 3, passing the exhaust gas through a purification device 4, thereafter removing moisture therefrom through a dehumidifier 10, storing the inert gas liquefied by a liquefying device 5 in a cylinder 6 and removing the same therefrom as required.</p> |
