A spring type coupling for connecting corrugated steel pipes and a connection method thereof are provided to reduce bolt manufacturing time and costs without bolt heads and to contact the corrugated pipes with a surface of the coupling closely to prevent water leak. A spring type coupling(1) for connecting corrugated steel pipes comprises a band(2), two brackets(4), and bolts(6) and nuts(7). Two ends of the band are not contacted with each other longitudinally, and are shaped like a spring type. The brackets have a plurality of bolt holes. The bolts and nuts are inserted and joined in bolt holes. The two nuts are screwed simultaneously to tighten the band and to connect corrugated steel pipes.
