PURPOSE:To receive a calling party and a visitor by voice/image information from a telephone set with an automatic answering function, and also, to record the voice/image information from the calling party and the visitor. CONSTITUTION:In the case an incoming request comes to a video telephone set 1 with an automatic answering function in an automatic answering mode state, an answer is executed automatically to its request, and thereafter, from a picture recording/reproducing part 2-3, a fact of being absent is reproduced and sent out to a calling subscriber as voice/image information. Simultaneously, a message being an answer from the calling subscriber is recorded as the voice/ image information in the picture recording/reproducing part 2-3 so that it can be reproduced afterward. Also, in the case a call request is executed from an interphone being a slave machine 3, as well, the same step is taken. |
