PURPOSE:To fill up refractory grains without developing the deformation of a pattern while precisely detecting filling level of the refractory grains by arranging a special level sensor. CONSTITUTION:The casting apparatus using a lost foam pattern by embedding the lost foam pattern 26 into the refractory grains 3 in a molding flask 1 and casting while replacing the lost foam pattern 26 into molten metal is featured by providing an optical level sensor 31 arranging at the prescribed level, position in the molding flask 1 and having a covering part at the upside, a supplying means 21 for supplying the refractory grains 3 into the molding flask 1, a vibration exciting means 15, exciting the molding flask 1 to at least the vertical direction and a control means for drive-controlling the exciting means 15 and also once stopping supply of the refractory grains 5 through a supply means 2 at the time of filling up the refractory grains 5 to the prescribed level position based on the output of the optical level sensor 31. |
