摘要

PURPOSE:To purify an odoriferous component present in a drier with a heating element, a drying chamber and a box housing them. CONSTITUTION:A heating element 3 in a dryer is coated with an adsorbent 4 or this adsorbent 4 is disposed near the heating element 3. By this structure, a malodorous component generated by heating a body to be dried is deodorized by adsorption on the adsorbent 4 cooled after the heating operation and no malodor remains in the body to be dried. The adsorbent 4 can be regenerated by discharging the adsorbed malodorous component from the system by heating with the heating element 3 before the adsorbent 4 attains to the limit of the adsorbing ability and a malodor in the drier can be removed with the adsorbent 4 over a long period of time. Deodorization can be carried out even during the operation of the heating element 3 by incorporating a noble metal catalyst into the adsorbent 4.
