<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the electrolytic corrosion of a metallic material of a base material and to greatly improve the durability of the axial flow fan by coating the surface of the rotor vanes and stationary vanes made of metal of the axial flow fan with an insulating material of an org. system or ceramics. CONSTITUTION:The axial flow fan constituted by coating the surface of the rotor vanes made of 'Inconel(R)' with, for example, an epoxy resin or glass flake-contg. vinyl ester resin or mounting the vanes thermally sprayed with a tungsten carbide or Al2O3 to the fan or the axial flow fan constituted by further coating the stationary vanes made of SUS with, for example, a glass flake-contg. bisphenol resin or the axial flow fan constituted by thermally praying the tungsten carbide or the Al2O3 to the stationary vanes made of the 'Inconel(R)' is installed still in the outlet duct of the absorption column of a coal-firing flue gas desulfurization apparatus of a coal gypsum method for treating waste gases. These axial flow fans are not corroded at all even if fuel is switched to coal after combustion of a C-oil (boiler fuel) at the time of rising of a boiler and even if this apparatus if continuously operated for one year.</p> |
