<p>A joint for human body-attaching devices, capable of reducing the weight of a human body-attaching device, regulating finely in a non-stepped manner or fixing the permissible range of a relative angle of rotation between adjacent protective members with the human body-attaching device kept attached to a human body, and connecting the human body protecting members to one another pivotally without spoiling the flexibility thereof; and a human body-attaching device using such a joint. This joint consists of a movable disc, a driven disc, and a shaft passing through the central portions of the movable and driven discs, and the movable disc is fixed detachably to one of adjacent human body protecting members, and provided in its end surface with an annular groove formed by an outer flange and an inner flange which is positioned on the radially inner side of the outer flange, the outer flange being provided with a through bore extending in the tangential direction of the annular groove, a pivotal movement restricting pin being fitted in the through bore so that the pin can be extended into and retracted from the annular groove, the driven disc being fixed detachably to the other human body protecting member, a projecting segment being provided on the end surface of the driven disc which is opposed to the movable disc, the projecting segment of the driven disc being slidably engaged with the annular groove in the movable disc, the pivotal movement of the projecting segment in the annular groove being restricted by the pivotal movement restricting pin.</p> |
