<p>PURPOSE:To provide a tape recorder equipped with a loading mechanism capable of holding a tape cassette having different hole positions and shape by one holding member. CONSTITUTION:A tape cassette possesses holes 1a and 2a on a main outer surface in different positions respectively, and side outer surfaces 1d and 2d of a housing are equipped with a holder 3 for holding two kinds of tape cassettes 1 and 2 which are different in shape due to existence/nonexistence of a hole 2e. Then, a 2nd holding member 7 is equipped to have a lever 4 provided with a projection piece 4a corresponding to the existence/nonexistence of the above-mentioned hole when a tape cassette is inserted, an energizing member 5 for energizing the projection piece 4a to be abutted against the side outer surfaces of the housing, a 1st holding member 6 formed with a 1st protrusion capable of engaging with the holes of the main outer surface of the 1st tape cassette and a 2nd holding member 7 formed with a 2nd protrusion 7a to be engaged with the holes of the main outer surface of the 2nd tape cassette.</p> |
