PURPOSE:To prevent toner from scattering in a toner recovering container and to efficiently recover much larger amount of toner by providing a cover member which moves upward due to a pressure by the toner itself introduced from a toner introducing port to the inside of the toner recovering container. CONSTITUTION:The toner recovering container 6 recovering the toner carried by a toner carrying device 2 has the toner introducing port 6a on its bottom part, and a weight cover 7 is fitted and inserted tightly inside the container 6 in a state where it can move up and down along an inner peripheral surface. The toner introduced in the toner recovering container 6 through the toner introducing port 6a by rotating and driving a screw conveyer 4 is pressed and compressed by the gravity of the weight cover 7 and recovered. A window 6c is provided on a position opposed to the window 1a provided on a cover 1 on the side part of the toner recovering container 6. The position of the weight cover 7 moving upward in accordance with the recovering the toner can be visually recognized through the windows 1a and 6c from outside. |
