PURPOSE:To make even a thickness of various lines which constitute characters by determining a line to be deleted or overlapped when a presence or absence of a drawing point is recognized and contracted. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 makes a control of an entire device and calculation processing, etc. Also a RAM 3 is an area in which an window system is loaded from a ROM(read only memory) 2 and external memory device 9 and used as a data memory area with no use limit, and programs and data for each processing are loaded and executed. When the character pattern is divided in vertical or lateral direction, and presence or absence of a drawing point for the entire character pattern or divided pattern for each line in vertical or lateral direction is recognized and the drawing point is contracted, a line which is to be deleted or overlapped is determined. Thus a thickness of various lines which constitute characters is made even and the characters can be processed without impairing a balance of the characters. |
