PURPOSE:To provide a production method of an adsorbent which can selectively adsorb and desorb heavy metal ions such as cobalt, nickel, mercury, copper, etc., dissolving in minute amts. in water for water processing and can easily be treated after used. CONSTITUTION:This adsorbent is obtd. by irradiating a polymer molded body comprising an olefin or halogenated olefin polymer or copolymer with UV ray or ionizing radiation to effect graft polymn. of polymerizable monomers having epoxy groups, and then fixing a polyamine compd. to the side chains of the grafted polymer. |
