摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To capture efficiently only the waste air having a high concn. of hydrocarbon and to decrease the wind flow rate for a deodorization treatment by deodorizing the waste air in the part where the concn. of hydrocarbon is high out of the local hoods disposed along the conveying line of a painting booth and treating the waste air from the part where said concn. is low with an outdoor treating device for the waste air. CONSTITUTION:The concns. of hydrocarbon in the respective zones in a local booth 20 of a painting booth 1 are measured with measuring instruments 23. The concn. of hydrocarbon is high in the zone where painting is accomplished and therefore the waste air therefrom is conducted into the 1st branch duct 24 by opening an open/shut damper 28 and is introduced through a main duct 27 into a deodorizing device 26 by which the waste air is deodorized. The deodorized air is discharged to the outside. The concn. of hydrocarbon is low in the zone where painting is not accomplished and therefore the waste air after subjected to removal of paint mists by a filter 22 is introduced via the 2nd duct 25 and a discharge duct by the damper 28 into an outdoor treating device 18 for the waste air by which the waste air is treated. The treated air is discharged to the outside.</p>
