<p>PURPOSE:To provide the active matrix type liquid crystal display device having a high and uniform contrast by suppressing the delay effect generated in scanning signal lines without lowering an opening ratio at the time of forming a screen to a larger size and with higher fineness. CONSTITUTION:The scanning signal lines 22 of a square wave shape are formed atop an insulating substrate 21. Gate electrodes 23 of thin-film transistors are formed in the intersected parts of the scanning signal lines 22 and display signal lines 24. The scanning signal lines 22 and the gate electrodes 23 are constituted by forming tantalum films on the insulating substrate 21. Transparent picture element electrodes 31 are formed on the insulating film and the film of aluminum is formed thereon. Source electrodes 32 and drain electrodes 33 are formed. The display signal lines 24 are so formed as to intersect orthogonally with the scanning signal lines 22. The drain electrodes 33 are connected to the display signal lines 24 and the source electrodes 32 to the transparent picture element electrodes 31. These electrodes are formed on an n-type amorphous silicon film 29. Transistor circuits contg. inductances are constituted on the scanning signal lines 22.</p> |
