PURPOSE:To simplify and secure the binding of a fishing line by disposing a fishing line- catching member and a fishing line-hooking member at the tips of the upper or lower shank of a clip-like fishing line-binding tool, disposing a cutting member on the side surface of the shank, and further disposing a fishing line cutter blade on either of the shanks of the grip and a fishing line-hooking member for fixing the fishing line on the other. CONSTITUTION:The gap of a fishing hook 33 is placed between a fishing line-hooking member 6 and a fishing line-catching member 7, and the fishing line and the fishing hook are nipped with a nipping member 3 along the shank of the fishing hook. While the fishing line-binding tool is rotated, the end of the fishing line is wound on the shank of the fishing hook and subsequently passed between the fish line-hooking member 6 and the fishing line-catching member 7, thereby permitting the straight main binding of the fishing line with the fishing hook, etc. Also in a fishing line piecing, a swivel binding, an areola memmae-like binding or a reinforcing binding, the fishing line is nipped along the fishing line-hooking member and the fishing line-catching member, and the fishing line-binding tool is rotated to wind the end of the fishing line on a base line.
