PURPOSE:To steam-heat an article with excellent efficiency and finish conditions by arranging one surface of a perforated sheet on water so as to be in contact with water, placing the article on the other surface without contact with the water, heating the water and feeding the generated steam. CONSTITUTION:One surface of a perforated sheet such as the sheet made of PE in which holes are partially or wholly arranged, e.g. square holes of 1mmX1mm formed at 3mm interval is partially or wholly arranged on water so as to be in contact with the water. An article such as a Chinese bun to be an object for heating is placed on the other surface of the perforated sheet without contact with the water, which is heated with a heating means to feed steam generated from the water through holes of the perforated sheet to the side of the perforated sheet without contact with the water. Thereby, the object for heating is steam-heated with the steam. |
