PURPOSE:To enable to utilize a water heater utilizing solar heat even if the atmospheric temperature is low, by providing a manually operated changeover valve means interlocked with a valve for opening and closing a hot-water supply port of the water heater. CONSTITUTION:When a changeover valve means S is in the state capable of feeding hot water, a hot-water supply port of an on-off valve V is opened. Here, if there is fear of freezing of a feed water pipe 39 and a hot-water supply pipe 40 due to drop of the atmospheric temperature, positions of valves 10-12 are shifted by turning a lever 16. That is, a port of the valve 10 connected to the feed water pipe (perpendicular direction in the drawing) and a water service pipe is closed while a port 3 connected to a water discharge pipe is opened. As for the valve 11, a port 7 connected to the hot-water supply port (perpendicular direction in the drawing) and a pipe connected to a hot-water supply cock is closed while a port 6 connected to a hot-water discharge pipe is opened. As for the valve 12, on the other hand, a port 8 connected to a pressure-reduced water pipe and a by-pass passage 9 is opened. At the same time, current is supplied to a motor V through shifting of the position of a switching means 17 and a port 24 connected to a hot-water supply port 24 is closed, so that water supply to a water heater is stopped. By turning the lever 16 back to its original position, the positions of the valves 10- 12 are changed over and a valve 25 is opened through shifting of the switching means 17, so that it is enabled to use the water heater. |
