PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a component cassette, to move it at a high speed and to automatically supply a component in a component supply device for an electronic component to be mounted on a circuit board. CONSTITUTION:The component supply device comprises feed means for filling a predetermined quantity of electronic component assemblies 7 among a plurality of component supply units for fixedly placing the many assemblies 7 in parallel, component supply means 8 for feeding the assemblies 7 at a predetermined pitch and a component supply table 9 moving to a component sucking position, cover tape winding means and cutting means for cutting a base material tape 3 at a stage of setting the assemblies 7 to the feed means of the means 8. Thus, a component cassette is separated from the reel of the assemblies 7 to reduce in weight the supply units. |
