PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. which is thermally stable and satisfactorily antistatic without deriment to the mechanical properties and color tone by compounding a halogen-contg. resin with a hydrotalcite compd., another hydrotalcite compd. contg. perchlorate ions, and a beta-diketone compd. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. halogen- contg. resin with 0.01-10 pts.wt. hydrotalcite compd. 0.01-10 pts.wt. another hydroctalcite compd. cong. perchlorate ions, and 0.01-5 pts.wt. at least one compd. selected from the group consisting of a '-diketone compd., a metal salt of an org. acid, and an organotin compd. The compsn. may further contain 0.01-10 pts.wt. antistatic agent selected from the group consisting of nonionic, anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants.
